Clive has over 30 years of experience as an engineer & manager, helping deliver high value, complex outcomes for large multi-national FS firms. Clive has been an early adopter of modern technologies & ways of working and is a
passionate evangelist for Agile, Cloud & server-less in particular.
Clive started as a Developer at Chemical Bank in ’87, playing a key role in their derivatives push, before joining Sumitomo Bank where he helped develop and manage their trading projects. Clive joined JPM Asset Mgt in 1993, where he was Head of FO Systems during an exciting period of growth & ambition. Clive then joined M&G in 2001, where he was Head of Development for 15 years, leading their adoption of Agile, Cloud & APIs whilst managing a team of 120+ across multiple locations. Clive & his team developed a highly sophisticated Logistics Suite for managing their 3000+ releases they were doing annually. Clive then spent 18m working for Avi Rao in M&G’s newly formed Digital Office, with a key focus on delivering a platform to accelerate their Machine Learning push.
Clive is passionate about how teams can adopt modern cloud technologies & collaborative working practices to help deliver awesome outcomes to their customers & colleagues. Clive is highly respected for his ability to see it and say it how it really is.
