Business Area: Investment Banking (Front Office)

Client Problem: Conflicting workloads across development teams from front office and regulatory programmes with no critical path plans or direction from senior stakeholders.

APS Approach: Meeting key stakeholders to understand priorities from both business as well as the regulatory programmes in the first few weeks ensured that when documenting the plans for the deliveries these could be taken into account.  Detailed planning held with developers to understand each deliverable and timelines ensured a detailed plan with regular updates could be pulled together to show progress and delivery.  Holding regular stand up sessions with the developers and project managers to review progress, issues as a group and resolution.

Project Outcome: Successful delivery of business and regulatory items for front office global investment bank whilst understanding key regulatory dependencies.  Management of 20 developers with Programme Director and senior stakeholders globally using JIRA.
