APS required a Project Support to embed strong Governance Principles and regular Executive Reporting in an existing Operational Readiness Team working alongside a Programme attempting to land a Platform to Platform Transfer into their BAU.
Prior to my interview; APS took the time to provide me with an overview of the delivery so far and discussed the businesses strategic vision and values to help me understand the company and the role I would play. All this meant I felt very confident during the interview; I was able to provide specific examples and solutions to their questions and demonstrate an excellent understanding/appreciation of their requirements.
In a short space of time we have established regular Team and Programme Management Meetings, regular and consistent reporting into Boards and Senior Execs, obtained a greater level of facetime with the Programme to input into Task and Activity Planning Sessions and we’re continually looking to improve and embed best practices as and when gaps are identified.
